Atlanta, GA (April 23, 2007) – SAPPHIRE ASUG 2007-- The winners of the 2007 ASUG Impact Awards have something in common, GuiXT®. Monsanto Company (NYSE:MON) and Powell Electronics are this year´s recipients of the prestigious award in the Large Enterprise and Small & Medium Enterprise categories.
The ASUG Impact Awards recognize ASUG members that have achieved significant business results due to an SAP® (NYSE:SAP) installation or upgrade. Applicants were evaluated based upon Return on Investment, Strategic Alignment, SAP Product Scope, Best Practices and Improved Service.
This year's ASUG Impact awards will be presented to Mark Showers, CIO, Monsanto and to Bob Oldrati, IT Director at Powell Electronics. Conference attendees will be able to learn the secrets of their success at the Customer´s Pavilion on Wednesday April 25, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
Both winners streamlined their SAP systems by customizing the UI with GuiXT. Synactive´s GuiXT allows for customization without the need for ABAP or Java programming. The results are a streamlined, easy-to-use interface allowing for greatly reducing errors, faster transactions and greater end-user acceptance.
Both winning companies are presenting sessions at this year´s conference. Monsanto, a GuiXT pilot program customer, is presenting "Creation of Contracts using GuiXT and Standard SAP Transactions" on Monday April 23rd at 11am. Powell Electronics will be speaking on "Order Entry and Customer Sales" on Wednesday April 25th at 12 noon.
Synactive will be publicly demonstrating GuiXT Fuzion, extending customizations to SAP´s NetWeaver on the web browser, at the SAPPHIRE ASUG 2007 Conference in Atlanta, April 22-25 (Booth 101-103). Additional product information about GuiXT is available at http://www.guixt.com.
