New release includes new usability and integration features for iOS users to get work done faster and drive business results
Foster City, California – April 30, 2013 – Synactive, Inc., announced today GuiXT® Liquid UITM Release 1.0.8.0, the latest version of the SAP ERP app that provides a new Easy Access user menu to easily navigate to commonly used transactions, reports and Web addresses. Customers that are used to the standard SAP GUI Easy Access navigation provided after logging in from their desktop PCs, will now find the same navigation available on their iPad, iPhone, or iPod touch to perform their daily tasks.
"We have seen a great demand for the folder and shortcut navigation provided with the SAP Easy Access Menu, which has been tailored to the user´s specific needs, or grouped according to SAP modules," said Shengchi Huang, Synactive´s Engineering Director. "It is important that we provide a smooth transition from SAP GUI desktop PC users that need the freedom of mobility, without the need for more training from a totally different UI".
The latest version of Liquid UI Platform includes support for Web services based on cURL. "It is important for our customers to have choices with an open architecture," said Thomas Ewe, CEO and founder of Synactive, Inc. "With Liquid UI, you don´t have to start from scratch, but instead you can leverage all the power of SAP and existing Web services to give the user the ideal user experience. Show turn-by-turn directions to a location right in the SAP ERP app, or translate from one language to another at the presentation layer only, maintaining consistent data in SAP in another language."
