SAP ERP users must go through multiple screens and select specific fields from each screen. And since the process is not streamlined or intuitive it can be very difficult to identify the correct fields. This is one of the main reasons why it takes so much time to train users to use this process, and even then the error rates are still very high.

GuiXT allows all of the fields used on different screens to be consolidated on to one screen. The user no longer has to go through multiple steps to create a service order and a return delivery transaction. Now it can be done with a single click of a pushbutton. In addition, the time necessary to train users on this process is greatly reduced.

RMA transaction screens have many tabs and the user has to enter a lot of information, a lot of redundant information. Changing the status of the RMA can take 4-5 clicks. No restrictions on the action box control, means all users can perform all the actions listed.

Implementing GuiXT enables the customer to simplify the create, receive, repair, and ship processes. A launch pad is designed with 3 buttons providing access to receive, repair, and ship processes. GuiXT also simplifies the main screen for notification entry. In addition the general data tab(first tab) has all the information required, including status information; goods issue and delivery are done automatically. Action box items are restricted; access to select items is only given to users when they are in the right process.
