Efficient SAP PM

A raw material (RMA) is created and sent to the receive, repair, and ship departments. Only people with a specific service role are allowed to work on the notifications. Goods issue and delivery is completed in the next step. After that, shipping information must be entered again.

After Liquid UI, a launch pad is designed with three buttons providing access to receive, repair, and ship processes.


Challenge

RMA transaction screens have many tabs and the user has to enter a lot of information, a lot of redundant information. Changing the status of the RMA can take 4-5 clicks. No restrictions on the action box control, means all users can perform all the actions listed.


Solution

Implementing Liquid UI Platform enables the customer to simplify the create, receive, repair, and ship processes. A launch pad is designed with 3 buttons providing access to receive, repair, and ship processes. Liquid UI also simplifies the main screen for notification entry. In addition the general data tab(first tab) has all the information required, including status information; goods issue and delivery are done automatically. Action box items are restricted; access to select items is only given to users when they are in the right process.

Efficient SAP MM

Once a production order is created in the system, users confirm and sign off the selected operation, which is the first operation in a production order. If the order is not technically complete, users can technically configure and complete the order. After the production order is technically complete, goods movement takes place. After the order is configured, it is sent to stock.

Liquid UI Platform
After Liquid UI, the client can decide which components to retain, reject, or omit for the reworked production order.


Challenge

Manufacturing needs a rework function, which issues what is in a stock to rework the production order, and to compare "As Currently Configured" for the base part and serial number combination of the material against the end-result material and revision.


Solution

To address this challenge, Liquid UI Platform was used to create the rework production order and the simulated production order that displays the delta differences of the components. Liquid UI Platform enables the customer to decide which components to retain, reject, or omit for the reworked production order.

Efficient SAP WM

In this area, inventory adjustment requires the warehouse management (WM) counts to be updated along with the inventory management (IM) through a multi-step process. Returned stock can be scrapped, reworked, and restocked after transfer orders are created.

After Liquid UI, SAP users can view materials and the amount available on one screen then retrieve in one click.


Challenge

The first challenge is a multi-step process involving more than one transaction for each adjustment. The second, checking the stock available only to find out that the users did not move stock that is unavailable.


Solution

Liquid UI Platform enables SAP users to view materials and the amount available on one screen then retrieve in one click. After adjustments are made and the inventory count is updated, just one click is necessary to clear the IM count at the same time. To process returns, material document and transfer orders are also created with one click. The returned stock is then sent for rework, scrapped, or moved to stock. After making a selection, Liquid UI script is automated to run the necessary steps.

Efficient SAP SD

Customer sales representatives (CSR) create sales orders. Different order types can be created by sales representatives such as standard orders, returns, and credit memos. Shipping happens from several different warehouses. Each warehouse has a specific up charge that applies to the customer.

After Liquid UI, information is consolidated from different screens and a single point of data entry and display is created for certain data groups such as material level and order level data.


Challenge

If a CSR changes the warehouse during order creation, the warehouse up charge must also be updated. Shipment method and freight cost are entered in the order and information for the warehouse is updated. Carrier information is also specified in the order and the order is sent to delivery. Order types are not explanatory.


Solution

Liquid UI Platform enables customers to reduce unnecessary data such as unused order types. Explanatory layouts are created for CSR´s to choose among order types. Information is consolidated from different screens and a single point of data entry and display is created for certain data groups such as material level and order level data. An option to toggle between native and customized processes is provided to CSR´s. Liquid UI streamlines the order creation process enabling users to create fast order entries.

Challenge

Administering and distributing the network are specified in network assignments. In addition, network assignments and operations are not done in the specified dates.

SAP complexity prevents project manager from entering the correct information. All aspects from planning to cost are affected while creating a project. The result: inaccurate reports are generated.
