Purpose
Learn about the usage of WSOffice extension.
WSOffice is an extension of the WS platform that contains a set of libraries to enable users to extend the functionality and perform tasks that are not possible with the default implementation of WS. Among these are the following:
- Performing bulk data uploads from Excel spreadsheets to SAP
- Uploading data from PDF forms to SAP
- Performing global text replace operations
- Enabling tree and list views in Synactive clients
Examples include performing Excel integration or making system calls to access functionality that is built into the target system. Some commands in WS require this extension to be installed in order to function. The following commands and functionality require the WSOffice component to be installed:
- globaltextreplace
- Tree and list views
- Excel generation
