Liquid UI - Documentation - 3.1 Activating Liquid UI

3.1 Activating Liquid UI

Liquid UI, included in SAP, allows users to customize SAP screens without ABAP programming. Users can write scripts to simplify the interface and remove unnecessary screens. Advanced features require a license. With a valid license, users can unlock advanced features, such as combining multiple transactions, customizing workflows, enabling multi-device support, integration with third-party applications, and leveraging advanced security settings to ensure data protection. Liquid UI is inactive by default and requires GuiXT activation.

  1. To enable GuiXT and run WS scripts, click the Settings icon on the SAP screen, then select Activate GuiXT. The appearance of a checkmark confirms that GuiXT is active.

Note: Once Liquid UI WS is installed with a valid license, you must activate GuiXT in SAP GUI and configure WS.
